Highly trained, motivated and well rewarded staff are the key to delivering the Society's mission statement and corporate values.
This is endorsed by our Investors in People status, which is a national award made to organisations who support and demonstrate the training and development of their employees to meet their business goals.
The Society will provide advice, opportunities, facilities, resources and financial support to enable all employees to acquire the skills, knowledge and qualifications needed to perform effectively the duties and tasks for which they are employed and to develop their potential to meet the future manpower needs of the Society. Staff are also encouraged to study for professional qualifications where appropriate.
We also encourage staff to follow Computer Based Training e.g. Word, Excel - so they can acquire or improve their skills in a less structured environment.
We realise that good management practice is essential if we are to maximise the potential of the people who work for the Cheshire. Our Management Development programme provides an excellent start for new managers, upon which to model best practice behaviour, as well as providing an excellent opportunity for experienced managers to update their knowledge on latest management thinking.
