Cheshire Building Society has been actively involved in social lending initiatives for many years and has links with over 46 Housing Associations.
As more and more local authorities are selling off housing stock and passing the onus of providing good quality, affordable rented homes on to Housing Associations, the Cheshire has developed its experience still further.
The Cheshire's Commercial Lending team has also been involved in several 'Start-Up' projects in funding new Associations, where they were able to use their wealth of experience to give new Associations advice and guidance.
