Financial help from your family
One of your relatives may be able to help you fund a deposit on your first home in one of the following ways
- If your relative owns a property with no outstanding mortgage, we may be able to offer them a mortgage and they could choose to use some or all of that money to fund the deposit on your house. This is normally referred to as a guarantor mortgage
- If your relative’s property is mortgaged elsewhere then remortgaging with the Cheshire and raising extra funds at the same time to fund your deposit could be a possibility. Get a remortgage quote with online decision now
Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
