More about Remortgages

If you are thinking of moving your mortgage then it pays to find a competitive remortgage deal. A remortgage allows you to change your existing mortgage lender for a new lender and a new mortgage. The Cheshire will cover the standard legal fees for any remortgage that is organised through our Society. In addition to this, the Cheshire's remortgage product does not contain a product fee which again helps to keep your costs down when organising a remortgage.

Who should consider Remortgaging?

The mortgage you took out at the time of buying your property may have been a good deal at the time, but in the present day it may seem uncompetitive compared to other mortgages on offer. In the current UK mortgage market, approximately 1 in 3 new mortgages completed across the industry are for a remortgage, which shows that many people feel that they can get a better deal now than when they originally agreed their mortgage deals.
